Color Coated Test Tube Racks

Chemical and corrosion-resistant steel wire racks are coated with your choice of heat cured epoxy, vinyl, nylon, or they can be plated with zinc. Epoxy coatings are unaffected by organic solvents, salts, weak acids and weak alkalies, will withstand a temperature range of -223ºC (369ºF) to +121ºC (249.8ºF), and can be autoclaved. Nylon is an excellent coating for use with petroleum products and can be used between 0º (32ºF) and +70ºC (158ºF). Vinyl’s temperature limits are -30ºC (-22ºF) to +70ºC (158ºF). Zinc metal coating will impede rusting and can be used at temperatures up to 150ºC (300ºF) dry heat. It should not be subjected to steam autoclave or dishwasher cleaning. All racks have square holes, three decks, slotted mesh bottom and reinforced edges. Orange racks can be used for biohazard warning, yellow for radioactive warning. To Order: 1. Select a tube size. 2. Determine number of places required. 3. Find corresponding catalog number prefix 4. Add catalog number suffix for desired color/material. For Example: 60-187570003 is an orange, epoxy-coated, 72 place, rack for 15-16mm tubes.
