The SBS30 water bath features an integral shaker drive built under it’s
stainless steel tank. This shaker drive magnetically couples to shaking
platforms SBS31 or SBS32. When coupled to platform SBS31 the bath operates with a linear shaking movement, when coupled to platform SBS32 an orbital motion is produced.
| The platform requires no special
fitting and is simply lowered into the tank ready to commence
operation. Each stainless steel platform is fitted with 15 high
tension springs, to hold almost any size and combination of
flasks, beakers and bottles. Typically, the platform will
accommodate the following Erlenmeyer flasks: 8 x 250ml, or 6 X
500ml, or 4 x 1000ml capacity. |
Shaking speed is adjustable and
electronic feed-back control ensures accurately maintained
speed. The water bath temperature is easily set and monitored via
the LCD display. There is also an adjustable cut-out to protect
the bath and samples from control failure. The well laid out
control panel is ‘end on’ to save bench space. An accessory
bath cover is also available to reduce heat losses and
evaporation. Constructed from stainless steel, the cover also has
an insulated handle.
