Platform Shakers, Stuart*

Speed is variable between 50 and 250rpm and is controlled by an electronic feedback system which accurately maintains the set speed.
Model SO1 provides a smooth orbital shaking action with an orbit of 16mm, ideal for most culturing/mixing applications.
Model SO2 has a reciprocating shaking action with an amplitude of 20mm ideal for vigorous shaking. (Please note that the accessory larger platform cannot be used with this model.)
| The standard cradle type platform
fitting both shakers has four rubber cushioned horizontal securing
bars which can be easily adjusted both vertically and horizontally
to hold most sizes and type of vessel, including flasks, bottles
and beakers. For example, it will accommodate the following
Erlenmeyer flasks: 9 x 250ml, or 6 x 500ml or 4 x 1000ml or 2 x
2000ml. |
A larger platform is also available as
an accessory (397-019). This has a platform 510 x 510mm and
typically will accommodate the following Erlenmeyer flasks: 30 x
250ml, or 16 x 500ml or 9 x 1000ml.
