Vakuwash® Cell Washer
Rinses and dries glass or quartz cells
Economical, durable, and gentle on delicate glass or quartz cells, the all-plastic Vakuwash® replaces costly, antiquated devices that are often more fragile than the cells they wash. The Vakuwash® comes complete with a 500cc polypropylene vacuum flask, Vikem® vinyl stopper and tube ready for connection to a vacuum line. The mouth of an inverted cell is pressed against the rubber cushion to induce suction. Water or other cleaning fluid poured into the 89mm (3 1/2") diameter funnel is forcibly sprayed into the cell and then drains into the flask. Continued pressure on the cell creates an air flow which dries the cell. A final wash in acetone aids in removing water droplets.
