Analytical Grinding Mill, A11, IKA* Works
Universal grinding mill with air-tight grinding chamber and interchangeable
blades grinds a variety of substances, wet or dry. Blade crushes brittle and
hard materials to a maximum fineness of 1µm. The unique manual lifting and
lowering of the grinding head in the grinding chamber assures a complete
grinding of the sample. The mill includes a safety switch on the grinding
container and an orange-red display that indicates over-temperature or when the
grinding area has been improperly closed. Grinding chamber also allows for the
use of liquid nitrogen.
Use the high-grade stainless steel beater for pulverizing substances with a
Mohs hardness up to 6; the high-grade steel cutting blades for pulverizing soft,
fibrous materials; the double beater for substances with a Mohs hardness of 3;
and the hard metal beater for substances with a Mohs hardness up to 9.
