Cryo-Safe -1°C Freeze Controller
This easy to use unit provides a repeatable -l°C per minute cooling rate needed to successfully preserve cells. Controlled cooling requires 250ml of 100% isopropyl alcohol and a -70°C freezer. The body of the container is clear polycarbonate and the screw closure is high density polyethylene. Placed inside the container is an 18 well center grip, removable polyethylene vial holder that separates the vials from the alcohol. A plastic foam insert surrounds the vial holder. Alcohol filled containers can be stored at room temperature. Universal symbols printed on the container show instructions for use.
