Even when fully loaded, tubes are completely immersed while tops rest above the rack, floating in a beaker of water. Perfect for use in benchtop incubation. The rack is easily unloaded by lightly pressing it down against the bench until the legs touch, releasing the tubes. Molded of steam autoclavable polypropylene, the racks fit 400ml or 1000ml beakers. 1.5ml microtubes will fit the 10.8mm holes and 0.5ml tubes fit the 7.7mm holes. Racks are 6.4mm (1/4") thick with 19mm (3/4") long legs and a center handle.
