mercury, lithium, nickel-cadmium, and other types of batteries. Weighing only 3
oz. (85g), the self-powered unit tests a battery in less than one second, with
an accuracy of ±5%. And, unlike a voltmeter, it provides true resistive load
readings equal to real-world usage, thus testing a battery under actual
operating conditions. Moreover, the gold-plated, printed circuit board and
silver-plated switches ensure accuracy and a long life. Unit measures 31/2L x
21/2W x 1 in.H (8.9 x 6.4 x 2.5cm). Supplied with test lead, instructions, and
certificate indicating traceability to standards provided by NIST.
