Radiation shielding safety work boxes for transport or bench storing of [³²P] Beta emitting isotopes or Gamma emitting [¹²⁵I] iodine, these clear acrylic boxes have hinged lids enabling safe access to contents. Supplied without racks which are available as options (see below).

Beta emissions of ³²P, ³⁵S, ³H and ¹⁴C can be effectively blocked by 10mm thick optical acrylic. All Jencons-PLS Beta shielding is manufactured from heavy gauge 10mm thick acrylic.

Where shielding is required for protection against Gamma emissions of [¹²⁵I] Iodine and other Gamma emitters of lesser energy, a 12mm thick lead acrylic is required. This is the heavy gauge lead acrylic Jencons-PLS uses for its Gamma shielding products.
