For storage with or without racks when working with [³²P] Beta emitting isotopes or Gamma emitting [¹²⁵I] iodine. Each box has hinged lid. Boxes offer excellent visibility of contents and will hold up to three safety racks, which are not included, and can be ordered separately.

Beta emissions of ³²P, ³⁵S, ³H and ¹⁴C can be effectively blocked by 10mm thick optical acrylic. All Jencons-PLS Beta shielding is manufactured from heavy gauge 10mm thick acrylic.

Where shielding is required for protection against Gamma emissions of [¹²⁵I] Iodine and other Gamma emitters of lesser energy, a 12mm thick lead acrylic is required. This is the heavy gauge lead acrylic Jencons-PLS uses for its Gamma shielding products.
