Safety Worstation Cabinet
Beta emissions of 32P, 35S, 3H
and 14C can be effectively blocked by 10mm thick optical acrylic. All
Jencons-PLS Beta shielding is manufactured from heavy gauge 10mm thick
acrylic.
Where shielding is required for protection against Gamma
emissions of [125I] Iodine and other Gamma emitters of lesser energy,
a 12mm thick lead acrylic is required. This is the heavy gauge lead acrylic
Jencons-PLS uses for its Gamma shielding products.
Safety Workstation Cabinet
| The Safety Workstation Cabinet has been designed as a
contamination barrier between work areas for users of [32P] Beta
emitting radioisotopes. Constructed of 10mm thick acrylic these workstations
give good all-round vision. Hinged doors offer good accessibility whilst
ensuring adequate protection from within the contained area. Includes safety
holder for three pipettes and rear vent with cover for service access. |
| The safety workstation has an open base and is supplied
complete with the B-Safe spillage and containment tray and one pack of 25
disposable tray liners. Dimensions 400x400x490mm (WxDxH). |
