CheckTemp 1 with Stainless Steel Probe
Accurate and Affordable Checktemp
1 is a high accuracy thermometer with a 1 m (3.3') cable between the meter
and the probe. The stainless steel probe is perfect for fast response in
liquids, air, frozen and semisolid materials. The probe utilizes a high-tech NTC
thermistor sensor to measure the temperature. Thermistors make it possible to
obtain extremely high accuracy in a very short period of time. Checktemp 1 is
available in °C and °F versions.
Environment Friendly
Checktemp 1 is destined to make glass thermometers obsolete. Glass thermometers
are hazardous to the user and to the environment. The glass contains lead and
the measurement media is either mercury or alcohol. These materials are
undesirable in today's workplace. The comparative chart below clearly shows that

World's First Calibration Check Feature
Glass thermometers users do not worry about their
thermometers' accuracy because the method of measurement is physical liquid
expansion. The largest problem associated with electronic thermometers is the
stability of the circuitry that measures the temperature. For this reason users
are hesitant to trust electronic thermometers. To overcome this, a calibration
test device has been incorporated into the meter so that at the touch of a
button Checktemp 1 displays 32.0°F ± 0.5 (0.0°C ± 0.3). This assures the
user that the reading is reliable and accurate.

If you require your thermometer to be calibrated against an NIST standard, add
an "N" to the end of the code when ordering.
