EDL Demonstration Fuse
Simple and visual, this EDL consists of two clips in which a piece of steel wool is stretched. When excess voltage is applied to the fahnstock clips the steel wool instantly burns up thus opening the circuit. The distance between the clips can be varied as well as the number of strands of steel wool, thus changing the fuses voltage rating.
