Cartesian Diver
A visual demonstration of buoyancy and atmospheric pressure. A blown glass Cartesian diver approximately 2.5" tall, rises and lowers in a column of water as the pressure is increased and decreased. Increased pressure is obtained by compressing a rubber sheet stretched over a water filled cylinder. A red band around the neck of the diver helps make the diver more visible. Instructions included.
