Vibrasorb Vibration Damping Mount
Two Convenient Sizes Absorb Surrounding Vibrations
Isolate sensitive analytical balances and other instruments from disturbing vibrations caused by nearby equipment such as pumps, stirrers, and blenders with Vibrasorb® Damping Mounts. Molded of dense black & white terrazzo, these 64mm (2 1/2") thick platform has four Vibro-Absorber™ cushions and neoprene feet. It will absorb vibrations and will support up to 16 Kg. (35 lb.). A polished surface resists scratches and chemical attack. Overall height is 76mm (3"). Available in two sizes. The larger size Damping Mount will absorb vibrations down to 13 Hz. The smaller size Damping Mount will absorb vibrations down to 16 Hz. with a 35 lb. load. With lighter loads the minimum frequency of damping will increase to a value between 16 Hz. and 25 Hz.
