Tyndall's Heating Apparatus
The unit consists of four metal balls: steel, aluminum, copper and brass. The balls are heated and dropped onto a suspended wax sheet. By watching the balls melt through the wax at different rates, a good idea of the heat capacity of various metals can be obtained. Instructions provided.
